So I ran sound for the chick from the Cranberries tonight

and it was just weird.

You know how that guy Edgar "Igger" acted once he was inhabited by the aliens in Men in Black? that is how she moved on the stage.

She looked like Gina Gershon with no tits and had these facial expressions that ranged from rock star to televangelist.
and the parts in the songs like "Zombie" where she is using her gruff voice to yell "zo-hom-bie"... were just odd sounding.

It wasnt anything I could put my finger on, but it made me feel like I was tripping a little bit, and went through phases that verged on pathetic.

Don't feel bad man. I ran sound for some bands tonight and two people showed up for the show.
