Help me score a sack.

I haven’t smoked in well over three years, went straight to concentrate on school. I moved to a new city a few years ago and while I have been here I have met a few people that smoke a lot.

I haven’t ever smoked here with any of these people, but I know I could probably get weed through one of them.

Now in my old town things were totally different than down here. I use to live right by the border and all we ever really bought was mexi weed. $35-40 an ounce, you could also get a 20 sack, and then you could get a 10 sack. My guess is that those were ½ ounce and ¼ ounce respectively. I don’t really know for sure.

Here I have heard of people paying anywhere from 300 an ounce, to 80-100 per half. Does that make sense? I’m just going off of what I over hear people talking about.

I also hear high-grade is sold by the gram. So I don’t really know what to ask for.

I have about 50 bucks to spend +- a little either way. What should I call up asking for? Like a quarter? Doesn’t it depend on the quality? How do I tell what the dude is sellin? I can’t exactly ask for a breakdown of prices without him realizing I don’t know jack shit and ripping me off.

just buy an eighth or sixteenth of some really good bud. don't buy grams thats a ripoff. make sure it looks good and smells good. shouldn't look like that shitty mexican bud at all, look up pics of bud online. make sure it weighs right (3.5g for eighth). really good bud should get you high in one hit. just pay what you think its worth, stop worrying about getting ripped off. do this for awhile and then you'll know how it works.

i pay $60 for an eighth of headies. $30 for a 1/16th.

sounds like the bud you're talking about is some kind of mids. because 80 to 100 a half would be really cheap. it depends on the area though.

so just pay what you think its worth. if its not worth it dont buy it.

with 50 bucks you should be able to easily afford an 8th of some mids and still have some left over.

just ask if you can get an 8th of mids. if you havent smoked for a long time you dont really need GOOD bud...pretty much anything will get you blasted. ESPECIALLY since you used to smoke that mexican garbage.

make sure you SEE the bud before you give anybody any money too.

and yeah you can ask him prices. just say "how much for an 8th of middies?" if he says anything over $30 bucks he is either tryin to rip you off or it isnt mid grade bud. High grade shit goes for $50 an 8th around here. that shit is nice and should get you high in 1 or 2 hits.

Oh my God! People are really getting ripped off when it comes to weed!

I would pay $ 50 for a qtr of decent but if I paid that for an 1/8 it had better kick my ass. Or as some guys say, knock my dick in the dirt.

All right so I hit up my buddy that can get the good shit. He told me the dude likes to sell in ounces but he will see if he can get me an eigth.

It’s not really like I want hydro, but this guy was the most approachable about it.

I’ll give this a few days and see what happens. If not I have some other people I can approach but their more like friends of friends ya know…

you're not going to get a quarter for 60, the price you heard mentioned in the original post($100) was for a quarter, not a half

i can get ounces of dank shit for $180-$200 depending on how generous my buddy is feeling.

Well im necessarily looking to get a great deal or anything, ive been out of the game for three years so I need appropriate prices accordingly. Knowing how great someone is getting hooked up doesn’t really help me.
