I would check your local hardware store, I get them here for about $5.00 for 8 at Canadian Tire, or at the grocery store.

I just went to that place on Yahoo called Polsteins, and I was about to order some lids, but they wanted to charge me more for shipping then the products themselves (10 jar lids) for a good supply. Totaling $27.90 for the lids. They shouldn't be heavy though. UPS 3 day select was $33.00. UPS ground was almost $16.00. UPS second day air was $52.19. Next day Air $80. What??? They have this shipping option called "Common Carrier (Snowthrowers)" which is $195.00 for shipping alone! Yeah I want to pay $222.90 for 10 boxes of lids.
Anybody else know where to get some cheaper plastic lids?

Plastic lids for mason jars can be found at your local grocery store or somewhere which stock the jars and supplies. If you have a Fred Myeres in your area, you can find them their in packs of eight like you said for $3.66. I picked up quite a few packs myself. They are great for any mycelium growth from jars. You can drill a single hole in the middle for grains in quart jars or multiple holes for simple PF cakes. They are a great investment, no rusting, no two piece lids and most of all they are purdy.

Should this thread off been part of a larger thread? (I have seen a Shroomery "bug" that resulted in no subject title like this one)
