I know that a Garbage Bag full is quite a find, butr nonetheless, Back a few years ago, this acquaintance of mine had 4o or 50
shrooms. I asked him where he got them, and he said from his neighbor who had found the motherload. They were selling them. These shrooms had really big brownish caps with brown gills. The bluing effect was fast and the quality was good. Maybe the GarbageBag story is somewhat of a stretch (because I actually dodn't see a big hefty bag full), but these guys had access to shrooms whenever you wanted for a loooong time.

If you find the right cowfield you CAN find a garbage bag full. I am familiar with this area. You guys just don't even know how many shrooms grow here

Well GreatOne, then the guy had about 1 and a half pounds of shrooms then, and the stupid Bastard didn't deserve them at all. You're right about one thing, this idiot didn't know better than to keep them in plastic bags, and they did get pretty nasty. There was quite a pile of throw-aways that had turned into the mush you described before they got the mushies home. In fact, even after learning about the ill effects of carrying shrooms in a plastic bag on a summer day, this bonehead ruined the first bunch he got by keeping them sealed up in a tupperware bowl in the refrigerator.

I can't help but get the feeling that you're calling me a liar, which I am not. I have no use for telling you guys anything that I do not believe to be true.

BTW, CuePea, if you're familiar with the area, and you did happen to whisper a producing field in my ear, believe me, I'd be respectful and never take all of them, and I'd always thump the caps before picking, and I'd never tell anybody else, I swear!!!!

Thanks for the tip, GGreatone. I've heard all kinds of advice and ahve checked all kinds of fields with no luck. There's this one out on gunwaleford road that looks good. I've found some big purple shrooms growing out of rotten wood near the creek, but no shrooms yet. I have heard that people pick cubies there, but have never found any, but then again I've always gone early in the morning when the dew is thick. I think I'll try again using your search tek.
