the first time i heard that daft punk kanye song i didn't really like it at all. i was growing tired of kanye taking "sampling" to the most extreme possible degree. however... after hearing it like 30 times due to sublim's signature, the catchiness has gotten to me, and i actually like it now.

what you won't catch me listening to is mainstream country (i do really really dig some indie bluegrassy folk stuff), most mainstream rap (i do really dig a lot of good hip hop/rap), any emo/screamo/ or some other subsidiary.

Slow Jams,Through the wire,touch the sky,jesus walks are all really good songs. The lyrics can be shitty sometimes but otherwise ok. This new song ruins the original and kanye is such a pretentious ass.

Rap? Check out cunninlynguists or immortal tehnique for some real rap.

my cousin kept trying to get me to listen to all this r&b and rap shit this past weekend, but i had to stop him because i can't stand that sort of music. i'd rather listen to melt banana for twelve hours at full volume.

But yah, I'm not a fan of Kanye, but my room mate is, and I have to say, it's pretty catchy and every now and then he says something pretty good. Still, not getting blared out of my system for everyone to hear.

I am a rap fan, and I dont like Kanye. Wu-Tang is probably my favorite rap, but I like many others (mostly from teh 90s)

You dont like any country? I hated what I thought was country for most of my life. Then I discovered a while back that modern radio 'country western' is not what good country is. There is alot of country that is much different. Give it a shot.
