It amazes me how many anonymous users there are compared to actual registered ones, check it out:

Umm not to spoil your tinfoil party :tinfoil: but "anonymous users" in that list means any people that may be on the site but aren't signed in or aren't members.

First of all, why would someone who has a membership be cruising around the shroomery not logged in anyway? isnt the first thing you do when you get here sign in, check inbox, etc.  So that means most of those are just casual perusers, but they are doing searches apparently because it shows what they are reading, and its not always current threads. so that means they're coming here in search of information perhaps? idk.
