HELP! im being mercilessly assaulted by spyware

ad aware 2007 fully updated isnt doing shit. im getting popups every five munites. and some nasty ones too

ones that freeze mozila, and another one that takes what you were looking at and makes it look like a small popup window, and makes the popup look like a big mozilla window. PLEASE can anyone give me a good free spyware removal program to use?

I always used spybot when I did computer repairs. You could also install a trial of kaspersky temporarily and that will I guarantee remove all of that shit for you.

I'd download HijackThis, run it and save a log.
Check out some of the startup programs.
If you see something suspicious, do a google on it, and it will usualy bring up a page with the spyware description and the proper way to remove it.

If you wanna go the easy way, post the log on the hijackthis forums, and they'll tell you the proper ways to remove it.
Its a good idea to keep winblows on a separate partition just for this situation, so you can format and not have to back up your data.

The best program I've come across yet is Easy Cleaner.

Since I started using it, I've had no problems, and it's freeware.
