I caught a caterpillar!

Some pictures of the little fella.I thought it was gonna bite me at first but it's very timid.I have no idea if they bite or not but they turn into butterflies and fly away.This little guy is almost there.

i caught one and got it a little place to live and made it look real, he started cocooning and.... he died in his cocoon :sad:

Caterpillars are my friends. Earwigs and them get along very well! It's been too dry of a season in Nevada this year, no butterflies. :frown:

Little bugger's will do that if they don't get cold. Put them in the fridge in the colder spots for the winter. Or better yet, outside in a glass thingium.

DieCommie's got the best solution. If you want to keep it, you'll have to find a way to replicate its environment, including the cold times. That'd be expensive.

Heard they eat bround beef cooked to perfection on a sesame seed bun. Hope that helps.
