Well now that I'm done with the last Harry Potter book...[Spoilers in here, duh.]

I'm gonna read the Chronicles of Narnia all over again. And not in the 1-7 order...I'm reading them in the order they take place chronologically. Which means Book 6 first, The Magician's Nephew.

For those who read the last Harry Potter...what did you think? Personally I loved it. I think she really delivered. The last four chapters leading up to the epilogue were absolutely epic.

i read it in like 3 days after it came out.

amazing book. ive been reading them since the first one first came out, and i was like 12 at the time... so most of my adult life has been spent waiting for a harry potter book to come out, so now that there are no more it's weird.

the book was amazing, it tied the loose ends up and the epilogue or whatever was dope.

yah, but she couldn't go in too deep or it would've seemed laggy. it got enough info across to us in one scene so i'm happy with it.

Yes the epilogue could have been done better...though she did write it years ago, when she wasn't a great author.

The book was amazing, simply amazing. It tied everything in together but went so much beyond that with the story of Dumbledor's life. This book was, without a doubt, about Dumbledor. We finally got to find something substantial about him.

Then the last few chapters were awesome. I knew all along that Snape was good (well not really, but he's a hero of the story), and I thought his death was particularly well done.

Yeah Snape's chapter was fantastic. I just loved "The BAttle of Hogwarts" so much - I got chills when I read the chapter title because I realized that I was indeed in line for an epic reading time.

I read like 5 chapters of the first book and got bored. If I'm gonna read outlandish fantasy books I'd rather be reading some dark and really deep stuff not targeted at the 8-16 age range. I read the silmarillion and was amazed. harry potter has just been pretty hokey crap if you ask me.

The first book is for 4th graders, and each book is progressively and increasingly darker, better-written, and more mature.

yeah it was really well written
I loved how it explored Snape's and Dumbledore's history
and the chapter at king's cross in the end was pure gold.
I just hated the last chapter,
a little too heart-warming and sappy for me, I would have liked it better if harry sacrificed himself for the greater good... which he did, but he came back to life, you can't have your cake and eat it too.!!
