Facebook is a pain in the ass to navigate and Myspace everyone is on. I hate them both. Fucking family needs to stay the fuck off it. Feel like I need to church the damn thing up to avoid family bullshit. I only visit anymore to make sure my friends don't post some shit I'll get shit for.

I've been a facebook member since back in the day when facebook was specific to private colleges(03'). Those were the days. None of this daily changes shit. No top friends. No bullshit invites to events that aren't in your state. No stupid ass gifts. None of this "plug-in" bullshit.

Today, facebook sucks my ass. Fuck facebook. It's a new wannabe myspace. It sounds elitest, but opening facebook to the public was a big mistake. They should have left it on an invite only basis. That way college friends could invite their friends who aren't in college. Fucking facebook, I'm so disappointed. It was good back in the day.

As far as myspace is concerned, I killed my account about 6 months ago and don't regret it one bit. Myspace is fucking stupid.

I have a myspace page because my fiance wanted me to make one. Since I did, I've actually ran into a lot of old friends on there that I never thought I would talk to again. I still think Myspace sucks though.

I refuse to sign up mainly for that reason. I am in touch with everyone I want to be.

Everytime I go home for christmas, and go out to my hometown bars, it might as well be called a class reunion. Everyone asks what my myspace page is and I just laugh in their face with my beer breath, hoping that a bit of moisture/spit/beer is flung from my mouth and lands on their face.

These "social network" sites seem to be the coolest crap out nowadays.

Finns have a similar phenomenon going on too - once Irc-Galleria was obviously a picture gallery for IRC users, nowadays not even half of the users irc, they just use it as it has over 400k people of the 5,2 million total in the country. If you're bored, go laugh at Finns, hit the "Satunnainen" (random) button in the top bar for a random user.

I think people hate Myspace, just because its cool to hate it. Its a great way to network, especially if your in Dj and production crews. Good for promoting events too.
