Keepers Creepers

what is the ideal incubation temperature for spawning Keepers Creepers, because i have read that some ppl's Keepers Creepers substrate jars experianced little or no growth at 84-86F but had fast growth of mycelium at 75F...help appreciated..

a cubes a cube it don't matter what names its been given. 84-86 is 90-92 inside the jar letting bacteria have the upper hand. You want it at like 80 tops outside the jar.

the internal temp of any jar is only +2 to +3 degrees warmer, not five or six...

incubating at 80*F is perfect.

are you sure I have heard that 80 outside the jar can be up to 86 in the center of the jar.

so0o since my room temp is usually 80F..i could just have them sitting in my closet? subsrate jars that is..or shud i have them in some type of container?

Creepers are just slow, period.

80 is fine. The growth will be accelerated at a warmer temp regardless.

Only till the jar gets an internal temp of (oops above) 85-86 then the speed of colonization drops drastically and the speed of Bactria growth pics up.

in the summer in the us your more likely to need ac not an incubator i use my incubators still but on really hot day i drop ice cubes in the water and of course the heaters are unplugged all summer in the winter though i keep my house at 68 so im full on incubator jones up here in the mountains.
good luck bro and buy yourself some dif prints and experiment its alot of fun seein the dif between strains

OR ARE THEY? I have some Creepers which colonized about the same speed as Ecuador and now its been 1 week since Creepers started pinning and the Ecuador is still not.

Growth slows down at 84F and above.

How much heat it produced depends on the size of the jar and at what stage of colonization it's at.

Small PF jars are probably only 2-3f higher, but larger grain jars and spawn bags can be up to 10f higher, so it's best to keep them at 70-75f.
