Super Mario VS Master Chief: Who would Win?!

Okay so the rules are they fight in a generic symetrical paintball type field, and both combatants are at their prime, maxed out.

Mario hands down. He'd use a Star, fireball, then it would be all over from there. Honky Stomp his brains out, nail the princess, than feed Master Chiefs head to Toad.

Master Chief WOULD put up a fight however...

I have One and Only 5 names!

(oops. I meant to reply to Apollyphelion) Where would Super Mario get his super-invincible cheat mode stars on a generic symmetrical paintball type field without magical flying blocks overhead?

I don´t know. I still think he´d win though. Just because he can jump so damn high. Master Chief may have a nifty helmet, but is that gonna be enough? Imagine the sheer blunt-force trauma induced by a fifty foot drop, double boot stomp. It would be like a Claymore blow to a plate mail helmet!

I wonder if Toad trips by eating people heads?

In Mario Bors. 3 he can pull items he saved out of thin air before he enters a level...Bam! Toad shoots Heroin. It practically implies it in an episode of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show~!

the problem with jumping 50 feet in the air is that you're jumping fucking 50 feet in the air.. it takes a while to fall. in the short amount of time mario is free falling, he's completely and utterly defenseless. one headshot with the sniper, or 3 direct semi-auto headshot blasts from the assault rifle and he's dead.

you guys are forgetting the invincibility stars wear off rather quickly. all master chief would have to do is avoid him for like 10 seconds, which shouldn't be too difficult given the obstacles in the field. plus, the bullets fly like 1000000000x faster than the bouncing fireballs. i mean... don't get me wrong, i love mario. but he wouldn't stand a chance.
