so, i was at the ER the other day getting teatnus shot and some x-ray's and i asked the doc for some anxiety medication.

he prescribed me 1Mg pills...

what im wondering is, relatively how strong are these, they dont seem to have any effect on me, and im also wondering how they would interact with alcahol..

I can give dose advice but they do have recreational value so if 1 mg doesn't do the trick try 2 and so on. I rarely feel them at all unless i drink a tall glass of water with it, don't know why it works like that but cant hurt to try. Mixing it with alcohol will make you real drunk real fast and probably forget everything by the next morning.

ativan is one of the more powerful of the benzo's.. i used to take them, for quite some time actually and became very very addicted, worse addiction i have ever had, atleast the withdrawl.

No they aren't. They are less powerful than Alprazolam and Clonazepam.

I was at the ER for a panic attact about 2 months ago and they gave me 2mg of Lorazepam (Ativan) and I barely felt it. It calmed me down, I barely felt it like I do Xanax, and I can get off on .25-.5mg xanax.

Oh and drinking with any benzodiazepines with pretty much do the same thing. It will get you wasted a lot faster and could potentially cause some problems.

Since your body builds up to the maximum level of drug in your system over time and use, you may find that you need less to get off as you keep taking them. Of course those levels need to be maintained or reduced gradually (like in rehab) or else you can have seizures, go into shock and die if you quit benzos cold turkey.

benzos work differently for different people. For me it comes 2nd in line for strength. First good ol xanax.
