Any of you have experience with the Lemon Tek thingy?

This has been talked about plenty in The Psychedelic Experience forum, I am just posting it here because I wanted to see if any of you Pubbers that maybe don't normally post over there have had any experience attempting what has been dubbed the Lemon Experience. Did it work for you? If it did, did you think it was just psychosomatic?

Theoretically one would assume that the acidity of the lemon juice would help to speed up the digestion process a bit. I've never personally tried it but it sounds like it would "work" and if not there's not much to lose by doing this seeing as you'll trip either way.

I have not tried it but based on the accounts I've read, I don't think it's just placebo. I will experiment next time I have an opportunity.

I'm considering experimenting with it tonight for Roger Waters @ MSG...I don't know if I should or not though. See, I definitely want to trip hard (plus a little MDA :yesnod:) and so if the lemon tek didn't work for me (it seems to work for some and not for others) I'd want to be guaranteed a solid, strong trip...so I'd probably soak 3g or so in the lemon, which just makes me worry that if it really does work, I might be waaaaaay fucked, and in over my head. :lol:

I didn't notice any discernable affects. however, it definitely didnt weaken the trip by any means so go for it. I'm very freaking jealous that I don't have money to see Roger Waters. Enjoy that shit man, I'll just have to close my eyes out at nlqp and be on enough drugs to convince myself that im hearing the real deal.

Maybe tone down the dosage then... it's not like you wouldn't have fun on at the concert without a powerful trip. The lemon thing seems ideal for concerts since it apparently tends to speed up the life cycle of the trip, but the intensity is supposed to be amplified... 3gs can be intense enough by itself.

it's not time for experimentation IMHO... i'd want to know things will go smoothly (its not an event i'd like to miss out on!)

IME the lemon tek is just placebo but i sure need to check it a few more times befor i can be 100% sure in what i just said!

i made a giant batch of tea last year after soaking 1/4# of crushed cubes in 2 bottles of lemon juice...

it was the strongest tea i've ever had... and everyone else agreed.

I was sure to give smaller doses than usual, as our test doses were absolutely incredible. Onset w/in 10mins.. full visuals w/in 30mins... entire trip was over in about 5hrs.... back to baseline, basically.

I ground up an 1/8th and put mixed it with some lemon juice and let it set for 10 minutes, then shot it about a year ago. I think it definitely made the trip more powerful but shorter lasting. It may have just been because of the mushrooms were powdered though (I usually eat them whole).

All in all, when I did it, I was immobile for a good 45 mins or so (due to intense tripping) but the trip only lasted about 3 hours from start to finish. The comeup was quick a well, about 15 minutes.

I'd say just eat em regularly for a concert, and not that high of a dose, but that's just me.

true, I just throw on my shades and try to remember that in the end I don't really care how goofy people think im acting. either they know what's up and understand or think im weird. either way works for me. oh and make sure I have nothing illegal on my person, that's the only source of anxiety for me.

No doubt! I forget to take shit out of my pockets before I get there and it makes me bug out, sometimes. STS9 on the 30th of December, last year was like that for me. I was like :whoa:

I figured out the reason for the freakout, after intensly thinking about my thoughts that I was having, during my freakout and it was because I had so much illicit shit, in my pockets. So, next time, I'm only carrying a couple of joints and that's it.

Well, the venues down here have these roughneck redneck security/cops that are very adept at seeing lighter flickers. I can cup a joint and fan slightly while dancing and it goes unnoticed, except by smell.

I'm interested to see the crowd for Roger Waters tonight. I think it'll be a lot of older folks. I hope none of them are so fucking old and jaded that they complain about the smell of weed smoke. I do love, however, when old people who don't smoke very often, ask a young'un like myself for a hit...they're always so awkward, and they try to use lingo like "toke" and it comes out so cheesy.
