so I officially HATE myspace now

I've spent the greater part of the past nine hours or so trying to figure out how to add a background picture to my site while still keeping some sort of color within in the text boxes so that you can read what I've wrote over above and beyond the pretty picture I've got in the background

so far I've managed to figure out the following three things:
- how to leave your background plain fucken white, with black letterings (e.g. gay as fuck)
- you to put in a background pic with black typing, but no color behind the words (read: you can't fucken read it)
- and...how to make both the background and the words the same god damn color (you can't see either)

it seems like you can only change one god damn thing at a time with this shit, and it's pissing me right the fuck off
cause when I used to make my own god damn websites - I could do ANYTHING with em

but because myspace has these damn 'idiot proof' fucken templates - you can't do fucken shit!
(you have to make changes one section at a time...and changing one section negates whatever changes you've already made onother sections)









I am *officially* pissed the fuck off right now  :mad2:

lol yeah, I've hooked up with a few chicks from MySpace, and met my current girlfriend on there. That was a few years back though, it's easier these days to just go to a pool hall or hang out on campus. MySpace has a good variety of women that you wouldn't otherwise meet though.

THAT's the thing that's pissing me off about all of this

cause I know all about fucken HTML an shit (e.g. I can design the fuck outta a website from fucken scratch) but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do more then one fucken thing at a time with all these bullshit ass fucken 'templates' they got over there

I can change one god damn thing at a time, but by the time I get to the last fucken thing on the list - every other change I made beforehand has mysteriously dissappeared

and god forbid I try an change em all at once - cause it won't fucken auto save from one change to the next

it seems like I can have either a background pic, OR colored typing, OR, a 'background' behind they words that I've written (so that they don't interfere with the 'wallpaper' behind the entire site itself) but god forbid I have all three

and I sure as fuck can't just go ahead and do things the way I know that they'll work (cause I gotta use the fucken templates that they provide for all that shit) so yeah - I can't do fucken anything apparently

Personally I like other sites better for what I'm about to mention, but what about bands????


Myspace didn't start with teeny boppers and their followers/stalkers/lovers.... it started as a way for bands to promote their work.
