So the Cubs won twice today...

But I dont understand the rule change about how games are supspended or called...

The Cubs-Pirates had 6.5 innings played last night when the game was called. How is that not a complete game?

Shouldn't it be after 6?

Also, the Cubs were up 6-5, right? But the Pirates hadn't batted in the 7th, and the Cubs had scored 5. So, I heard if they called the game, it would have reverted to the score of the last completed inning, which was 6th, and the Cubs would have lost?

I thought that it only had to be 5 to be considered a full game. Anyone know the rule?

Going to Wrigley for the first time today. Cubs/Nats. If it rains like they're saying it might this "afternoon", I am going to be one pissed off mother. Game starts at 1, so maybe It'll be okay.
