Wow. And that was the 1st time in Sox history to hit 4 straight! Jeter tied it though...Matsuzaka doesn't look too sharp this game. Then again, the Yankees offense can make good pitchers look like shit pretty easily, too.

Well this just goes to show, "the sun shines on a dogs ass every once and a while". :lol: First time in 17 years you guys sweeped us. It was mainly due to our pitching rotation being off. The same reason we sweeped you 5 games in a row, including a double header, last season.

I love how Yankee fans constantly bring up what happened last year, or 90 years ago, or how the Red Sox are just winning because the picthing staff is banged up  :rolleyes:

Edit - I should also add, that was one of the most entertaining series I've ever watched.  I've been to a LOT of games at Fenway, and Friday nights game was one of the best games I've ever been to.  All 3 games were damn close, and wicked exciting - like baseball should be :smile:

Yeah most definitely. I was on the edge of my seat or standing basically all weekend. :rofl: I'm jealous you got to watch Friday nights game at Fenway. I would have loved to have been there to see A-Rod bomb those 2 HR's, even though you guys beat us.

I called Robot from the game after Arod's 2nd homer. Right as he came up to the plate I said to everyone around me - "I don't care that 1st base isn't open, they should walk him anyways, or he's going to belt a 3 run shot". I jinxed us D:

I forget who hit it, but at the very end of the game a foul ball got hit down towards Pesky's Pole - it 2 rows directly in front of us. So close!!

I got a Mark Grace foul ball when he played with the Cubs....that's the only ball that I've ever gotten and I still have it.
