would anyone like to tell and discuss some recent dreams?
if you do I'll tell you what I dreamt of last night,it's long and a little creepy though...no one's on the physical and mental wellbeing where this thread belongs too...

have you ever thought what it does to you?I mean,my dreams fuck with me quite a lot in everyday life,I have flashbacks of dreams,some deja-vus I realize are actually past dreams...
yeah most of my friends tell me they don't remember dreams,wonder if there is some psycological study on the difference between people who do and people who don't

Sometimes I think i'm experience deja-vu but i'm sure it was a past dream that I vaguely remember.

I hardly EVER dream lucidly, very rarely will I even remember my dreams from the previous night. Unless, of course, they were of importance or EXTREMELY weird.

My dreams are often strange variations on things i've seen or had said to me that day.

Mainly they are things that bother me in my life too - like not seeing my dad and the anger I hold for him.

I've also had premonition dreams with uncanny accuracy.

A dream is a strange thing really - a form of bio feedback I suppose. Your own brain feeding its own senses...

I rarely remember, but last night I did dream something with my passed-away stepdad, cant remember what happened though, but it felt happy. :confused:

All my dreams lately have been sex dreams.

yes it is as if it was creating reality and actions through memories,concious and unconcoius memories.
well if you want to have a laugh (or more probably not) read my dream:

Last night I had a weird dream that felt totally new to my subconscious as I experienced a true religoius experience...or seen in a more scientific way,my brain lately as been working on a different chemistry due to withdrawl from pain medication.usually I take my medicin after dinner and wake up in the morning in the exact moment the effect fades away,last night I didn't take any for the first time and was ok,kinda,this afternoon I felt like shit and took some because I had to get up and couldn't afford to stay in bed,so this dream felt strange probably for this reason.
8 hours have passed after my awakening and obviously some recollection as been done,this is it:

I go through different journeys in my mind:my parents and friends are there and I'm always slitghly discomforted because in real life I'm in a difficult moment,well in the dream I keep going to beautiful places and limp my way up mountains,through medieval towns,grasslands and deserts,I'm always with friends but get progressly more angry and have this feeling I'm growing,coming out of the spiral and becoming a new person...
now,last night I watched American born killers for the first time and enjoyed a lot!this dream was strongly influenced by the movie.As I watched the first part of the movie I felt a strong compassion for Mallory and this caused a new turn in my dream: as my life gets more grotesque and i feel useless and handicapped in getting on with what is happening I start a personal self training and realize I can reach a higher level of conciousness,how do I do it?by stabbing myself...yes and it feels neither good or bad: for some reason I feel it's the way to go.Although the effects are devastating on the body,my spirit is lifted and at this time noone is aware of the potential of my actions. To stab myself I use a particular tool,similar to an ice breaker,or a screw-driver with a thin handle (like a scalpel used in biology labs),I go for the heart,the ankles,the fingertips and the knees.I feel like a martyr devoting my suffering to a Higher entity (?catholic imprinting).
At a certain point I feel more like a prophet and start giving my teachings to other people.Why do I do this?I don't ask anything in return,I do it in a way that I know I'm going to get recognition but also making it clear I don't openly expect anything,and I do it secretly,I choose my scholars,they're usually boys and girls around 18 (I'm 22), no particular signs apart from being open to my teachings and totally devote to me.
This moment I feel like Jesus,but better,I have total power on things,the world doesn't know about anything but I've never felt a tenth this divine...suddenly I find myself in bed with my 2 favourite scholars, boy and girlfriend, I'm on the right,he is in the middle and she is on the other side,all three are lying under the covers on our left sides,here is were I start to fall at high speed,everything crushes on to me and start to feel the worst nightmere in my life. As I try to touch the boys dick those tools enter my body in the usual places,driven by the invisible hands of my non present scholars,causing horrible pain,especially in my ankle and I suddenly realize all my teachings were not the divine pathway I thought before;my scholars are making me realize the reality of the self mutilation I thought was saving my life and others.I don't know why I'm suffering now and realizing it...I guess it's by having it done by them that I "wake up",for sure they are still following my teachings (although I never had done it to anyone apart myself,I think).
Well in this part of the dream I'm panicking and feeling worse than shit and wake up with my foot aking,scream out Fuck You God and start crying...
Now I realize that the tools are similar to and represent arthroscopic surgery tools
I'm bad and this dream is a proof I have some work to do in the ways I expect things from relations with other human beings and also my selfestime.
What do you people think? Ever felt similar sensations?

I've not smoked weed in a couple weeks, last night I died in a burning building I got into after sliding on my ass through 3 miles of prehistoric jungle, the night before I was ravaged by wild dogs, and the night before that, I was shot in the arm by some hypersensitive asshole after I wouldn't let 50 gangsters use my 1 bedroom flat as a party venue.

Can't wait till my dealer gets back into town

I always have dreams where im astral projecting but sadly they are only lucid dreams.

sometimes my dreams will come true in real life.
Or i'll see a face or situation or object ive never seen before and months later ill see it when im walking or something.
Maybe it'smy mind playing tricks on me but it freaks me out.

I dreamed I had to get this guy to spill his beans on something. So
I said I kidnapped his girlfriend;and told him to talk or i`d bring him pieces of his girl. So I got a corpse of some girl; that wasn`t his g/f
and started bringing him fingers..I dont think I was interested in what
he had to say; but It was my job to get him talking.. then we drugged
him out and shoved him in a hotel with another dead chick and a bunch
of drugs; and the chick had overdosed within 12 hrs of us dumping the body. and the cops where in on the job. and he could barely remember
where he was the night before; and didnt have any bruises or evidence
of what had really happened.

Just last night I dreamed that I was watching a bunch of superheroes try to kill this evil god thing. They were getting their asses kicked. So, somehow I summoned the Shrike from Dan Simmons' Hyperion series. But in order to get him to fight for us, I had to sacrifice my right arm. So he walks up to take my arm and I was pissed because I figured he'd take it AFTER he killed the god thing. Nope. So I lay in screaming agony and shock as I try to watch the god get ripped apart.

Then the dream jumped to later and I was discussing the whole thing in a bar with some people. It was really weird, almost portentous.

I was in a giant cave, and in the middle was like a giant mushroom edifice. There was also something about some portal, but I can't remember.

When I was younger I had a reoccurring dream that a giant was carrying me by the scruff of my neck, while walking down a long dark hallway. Every once and a while the giant would stop and show me some fucked up, terrifying shit in separate rooms along the hall, like a man being torn apart.
When I would franticly protest to the giant and cry, he would turn me to face him and say, in an extremely sympathetic and friendly voice, "I'm only trying to scare you." like a child who had just been told that his good intentions were wrong. Then we would continue down the hall.

I have dreams that are more fucked up, but this is far enough into my psyche this early in the morning.
