Richard Pryor is probably the funniest Ive ever heard. I really like Lenny Bruce also as he just has a really strange style about him. Also the archaic 50's slang is good material.

Ralphie May is pretty funny. I wouldn't put him up there with the top comedians but hes got some decent stuff.

Anyone Listened to that Daniel Tosh clip yet? I'm curious as to what others think of him...

Here it is if you missed that I uploaded it wrong lol...

Jerry Seinfeld ftw

I can't believe no one has mentioned him yet.

Seinfeld was good in his time... I find him kind of boring now. I got to give him credit though his act has it's moments. The Seinfeld show though would not have been as funny with out a Larry David's writing... thats a funny mother fucker there. Love Larry David

Larry David is the fucking man. I can't wait for the new season of Curb later this year.

Carlin is the all-time king. His act lost it's luster when he quit the drugs, but it's gotten better again as of recent. Don't know if he's off the wagon.

The first time I saw Sarah Silverman's act, I not only had to clean my drawers but thought she was the best thing to hit comedy in years. The act is getting stale though, too much exposure with not enough new material maybe?

Bill Cosby "Himself" is one of my favorite performances of all time. I love dirty comedy, but can also really appreciate a performer who can manage to be that funny without the crudeness that many comedians often rely on to converge demographics.

Carlos Mencia and Dane Cook should be punished for bringing their comedy to the masses. Not only are they not funny, butthey are widely popular for some odd reason and I just don't get it. I read they are both notoriously known in the circuit as material stealers.

Yes I agree with you on all these statements!!! I do have to admit, I like some Dane Cook.. most of his shit is just him winning over the crowd by being energetic and cutesy, he makes me laugh sometimes, but yeah he is wayyyyyyyy over rated. He should stick to acting and stay out of the stand up world.
