It's true though. They do have delivery guys (and girls). I've always wondered how you get "hired" to be a delivery person and what kind of money they make.

The deliv. service I use is owned and run by two guys who switch off taking shifts and they don't hire anyone.

SAme here man but , I ve seen more complicated kind of services. They got the receptionist, they have computers with data banks of costumers, etc. The weed is amazing but a rip off, my friend that goes to Amsterdam every year he says the quality of that bud is supreme, even better than in Amsterdam.


THat depends on what you want do. There are jobs all over the place. Check craiglist. I got my cheap rent apt there (sarcasm).

The service I used to use when I lived in NYC was run by a guy and his girlfriend, they were dispatchers, and had about 20 guys/girls set up around the city. I have NO clue how to get into that, but even though the cops don't care about pot there, they do care ALOT about other drugs. Most of the time, a dealer just doesn't deal with pot, and if they do, they get their stock from someone who imports other stuff. To me, delivery guys/girls get the shit end because if they're caught, they are caught with a backpack full of herb, which is much different than the slap on the wrist I would get if caught with a bag in my pocket.

They don't get paid well either. I'm sure there are great "benefits" but still.

Temping is a good way to get started in NYC. They ALWAYS need people and the money could be worse. A girl I know who did that when she moved there now works for the agency who she temped for as a recruiter, and is making good money while she chases her acting career.

Temp service is the way to go. You can get jobs your not qualified for as long as you can type 65wpm and your familiar with Word and Excel.

You can always make good money waiting tables.

You can also just be a bike messenger for a courier service if you are young and fit and have a bicycle.
