You should go into a little more detail. Like how long ago did you email them? I have used them before in the past just to see how their service was and their product. Both were top notch in my opinion. :thumbup:

I just got some stuff from them and so far its working well. If your product didn't contaminate until after you inoculated then the problem is you.

Also you can't just inoculate poo with straight LC.

As for e-mailing him, try PMing him he responds fast to those.

Well its not me ive orderd from other vendors iam vrry sterile i emailed them about a week ago lol as for opinions not to sound rude but thyre like assholes everyone has one and likes to use it lol but thanks for the input btw whats his username ill try to pm him AND Ive Found a Prepacked cookd rice that actually works

We definitely need more details than what you've posted. How much LC did you use? How long ago did you inoculate the substrate? Identify the contaminate.

Ok i inoculated in on Jan 31st and i injected it with 3cc and the contaminent is YellowishGreenmold nething else u need to know?

if nothing happened in the jar (no contams or growth) do some math.

imho i wouldn't inject liquid culture into anything but grain spawn as well.

Was the 3cc inoculation with the jar of rye, manure or both? Is the rye doing better than the manure or same?

I use liquid culture inoculates with bulk substrates all the time. In fact, that's all I use. It's all about quantity and sterility. Using enough LC with spawn bags and the right substrate recipe, one can grow pounds of mushrooms with no contaminates in a very short period of time.

Sounds like you injected LC into pasteurized manure. That's a fuck up. Yes you can use LC with good success on sterilized manure or better a specially designed bulk mixture. I have heard of VERY rare success using LC on pasteurized manure. Secondly was the jar contaminated before or AFTER you injected the LC? 90% sure that your LC was the source of contamination. I bet the LC was sterile when you got it from spore works but there is lots of room to fuck it up between injecting a spore solution drawing that spore solution out and adding it to your quart jar.

I'm sorry dude but you have a lot of learning to do. A little reading could save you a lot of money. But bashing a reputable vendor is not gonna get you anywhere.

lol its not contaminated its not doing anything at all theres clumps but theres no mycelium...been doing this for about a year and a half and iam sorry for bashing them but iam not an n00b and i spend my money on somthing that i didn't mess up...

and btw the LC i used was an extra from a spawnbag shiitake not a Cube thats how i know that it wasnt me i use my inoculation hood never had any losses (Till now)but iam just upset that they havent replied to my eamail thats all.:(
