Randy Couture is back!

Man, so crazy. Randy Couture, after 1 year of retirement, has signed a 4 fight contract with the ufc. On Mar 3rd he will be fighting Tim "The Maniac" Sylvia...he's gonna try and get the heavyweight belt back.

I think that's funny, I don't know why he signed an extended contract though, he'll end up on the chopping block for Crocop. He might be able to beat Sylvia... but come on.

Yeah, I agree. I think he might take sylvia too.

I think the thing is though that he left on a loss, so he's got something to prove. I hope he wins the 4 fights he's contracted for, so he can leave on a high note, but I highly doubt he'll win all of them.

It's cool to see a 43 year old(or pretty close I think), getting back in the ring from retirement though.

If it was me, I would of just said fuck it and kept milking all the endorsements and tv spots he has...just keep doing the plublicity thing and making $$$

I think Sylvia will pound the shit out of Couture. I thought Sylvia was verry verry impressive against Forest at the last ppv. But really why is he coming back? People talk about Brett Farve being so amazing still playing football at his age but Ultimate fighting at 43 is pretty intense. I just hope he doesn't become another Shamrock

I've never seen that fight.

Isn't forest a light heavyweight(205lbs)? How would that work with sylvia being a heavyweight.

I was impressed with monsoon's attempt. Not even a striker and he went all 5 rounds.

Couture can throw punches, wicked at submissions and a world class wrestler, plus he has something to prove...I think tim has got his work cut out for him. He just can't grind a win out on this one.

Do you mean Forest is a LHW? Because he is. Tim's a disgusting HW and hopefully Randy beats his ugly face in.

I'd hate to see Randy fight Cro Cop though. He's too intelligent to agree to a fight. He needs to win his belt in the HW division and retire again :smile:

its so badass. i was gona buy tickets since its in columbus and thats not too far away from me. those shits are expensive. up to 400 for one ticket.

Tim Sylvia has never fought Forrest. Forrest got beat by Keith Jardine at the last PPV.

Couture should be a good matchup for sylvia. Unfortunately Crocop is just gonna tear through the HW division and Randy will probably have to face him at some point.
