Disposable lasagna pan a good fruiting chamber?

At Walmart I found disposable lasagna pan with see-through lid, a lot like this:

At three dollars a pop, I thought about using these rather than hobo terrariums. Think they would work okay, or would I have problems with humidity and vertical grow room?

I can’t seem to find clear bags the right size for the hoboariums either =/

you will have one huge clusterfuck of tangled shrooms but it will probably work

They look pretty shallow, and not enough volume for good air exchange during fruiting. Better off looking for something else.

ive used exactly those.

not great, but doable.

i lined the bottom with wet paper towels for humidity.  open it up a couple times a day for fresh air.  small casing in a little disposable tupperware, and you're in business.

take a look at the third link in my sig, was grown in one of those.  granted, those aren't great results, that's the point of the post (how much you can screw up and still get something!) but not screwing things up, you can do better yet.

aside from not a lot of head-space for mushrooms to grow very tall, they're definitely doable :thumbup:
