Although, I do have to give them credit for going for it, both in the OT and on that 4th down play. They deserve the win just for having the balls to try those plays.

Boise is actually a much better team than everyone expects. They play on that gay blue turf in a shitty conference, so people think they suck. They've come in to the WAC and just kicked the shit out of everyone for the last few years.

Dammit...I should have bet on this game - I bet Boise was a big underdog.

That was an awesome game. I thought the Michigan/Ohio State game was the best one I saw this year, but this one takes the cake. That coach from Boise State has some guts. I cant think of any other coach that would have done that. Bob Stoops was dumbfounded, too. I still doubt he knows what hit him. And this after he was in the media saying nobody wanted to see Boise State play.

i agree.

the only thing that BSU did for the large picture.. was show that WAC teams are competitive, and that there should be a playoff system... to give teams like BSU (undefeated) atleast a shot at the NT.

how long does the contract the ncaa has with the bcs go for? as soon as it expires they need to make a playoff system.. this shit has gone on long enough. college football NEEDS a playoff system.. no more of this lets sit around for 2 months after the season ends then play 1 game and expect that to satisfy fans and players.. teams get too rusty after all that time, and usually the games end up sucking. at least the beggining does

lets give everyone a shot at the NT. i think boise wouldve made a strong run. and who knows.. why couldnt theyve beaten ohio state? whith the way they played last night anything could happen

I don't watch foozball really but I watched part of that game because a guy I play with on BF2142 plays for Oklahomoa and holy shit that 4th and OT was intense. I might give football another chance after seeing that one.

I agree that there should be a playoff, but keep in mind that Boise still wouldn't have made it if they only took 8 teams (the most common playoff scenario I've heard).

Some sportscaster (can't remember who it was) had a really good point that 20 years ago, without the BCS, Boise State and Oklahoma would never have even been on the same field.  Without the BCS bowls, the WAC champion ends up in the MPC Computers bowl on the blue turf in Boise.

Also, it's tempting to watch that one game and think Boise could win it all, but I don't know if they could win 3 consecutive games against that caliber of competition.

Honestly, Boise is a great team, but the WAC sucks donkey balls right now.  Nobody was really any good this year except Boise and maybe Hawaii (Fresno State was a pile of shit and wasn't even bowl-eligible for the first time in years. :sad:)
