Don't throw fruit and vegetables in with your herb...

Just smoke it...unless it is dust crackling dry, you won't do much good. Density is the biggest factor in burn rate outside of moisture... just stifle your bowl between hits.

I lived with some dealers at one point who would spray their shit down with sprite and/or red bull. I thought this was possibly the harshest thing you could do someone. It didn't go down smoother, it didn't taste better, it was just heavier.
and it made the paper towels smell like pot.

No, water does not damage THC.

I had a half pound of brick weed, it was dry as sand, I put a cored apple in with it and it
gave it a little moisture, it improved the flavor, texture, it smoked better and the high was
more pleasant... why not add an enhancement

I just don't like the taste and thought of smoking adulterated pot...

I can see the advantage, you could smoke it longer and theoretically absorb more THC because of greater dispersion throughout the inhalation, subjective taste, etc...but I don't like smoking artificially flavored pot . I'm glad you made it enjoyable for yourself.

Pot that naturally tastes like fruit is amazing...I've had some from a friend's bagseed that was exactly like apple juice. Cherry AK, Blueberry, etc, all good but that was the best for me.

Lettuce, apple, orange, etc just overwhelm and add a mildew/mold tinge to my taste buds not from *just* pot... I wouldn't buy any I knew had been flavored, but I wouldn't turn down a joint either... just a preference eh

pot naturaly tastes like ass... unless you go in for designer pot, of course not everyone is a pot snob, the only name my weed has ever really had was 'marijuana', lots of street names though.

you monitor the time it's in, you doing want it wet or even damp, you just want to boost
the moisture a little, not saturate it, it's just like with a cigar, you want the right amount
of moisture to allow a smoothe controlled, cool burning weed

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind, but I have no prospects of having to exact moisture levels of pot in that way...

Your opinion on taste is subjective like mine...

I love the taste of pot, but I don't think I'd like the taste of ass (ascertained from smell, important to the sense of taste). Perhaps your opinion is a psychological association?

Either way, keep smoking your ass brick weed, improved with an apple core, I'll keep being a pot snob, knowing the strain I'm rolling up, and smoking good herb in general.

We'll both be happy.

same goal achieved

different range of effects, however ... there is a more 'involved' high with some buds, due to the many chemicals involved beyond the normal THC, which is quite psychoactive on it's own ...

i can't argue against not needing to spend the extra for higher grade bud, but it is a personal preference, and one that hasn't been around forever ... like a good beer, a bud that is very aesthetically pleasing visually and in smell and taste may end up being a more enjoyable experience than just the obvious stoning effects of smoking bud ...

When your pot dries out, the trichomes are more likely to lose their adherence to the bud. This is especially true if you happen to keep your stash in a plastic bag. In this case re-moisturizing would be a benefit. As previously stated, obviously avoid keeping the fruit in too long to prevent mold. Just check constantly.
There was a time when I would use orange and lime to keep my goodies in a healthy state. However, this completely alters the taste and I got tired of the monotony. Also, I preferred the way dry bud burned. A J or L(yo) packed with dry bud will burn more consistently(no boating). A bowl is also more easily controlled with parch if smoked efficiently(cornered and thumbed). A bong might be better suited for moist bud though. Do'nt really care anymore, I rarely enjoy cannabis. Find me a good sativa dom however, and I'd gladly oblige an offer(pfft, one would have to fly to Thailand nowadays to actually find anything of the sort).
