If you liked Diablo, check out Titan Quest.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is a good RPG but I haven't tried the online mode. Also keep an eye out for Neverwinter Nights 2 which should be coming out soon. Oblivion is great but no online play.

Civ IV and Galactic Civilizations II are good strategy games. Company of Heroes is the best RTS to see release recently.

I'm more of an FPS guy so I can recommend a bunch of those: FEAR, Half Life 2, Far Cry, Quake 4, Call of Duty 2, Prey, and more which I'm sure I'm forgetting.

Play Lineage, or Lineage 2. Lineage is 2-d while Lineage 2 is 3-d. You level your character, fight in pledge wars, siege castles, and pk. Very fun.

Try AcroWars. It's a really addicting multiplayer word game, no download required.
