Dropped my piece

So went out last night having some fun. I ended up getting trashed and dropped my piece right onto the ground. Luckily it didnt break but did leave some rough areas on the glass. Anyone body have an idea on how I can kind of polish them down and make them less noticable?

find someone that has a kiln, and have them cycle your glass, most small time glass blowers will do this for you for only a few bucks.

the thing is the little scuffs you have on there are hundreds of microscopic cracks, that will weaken your piece, so if you put them back in to the kiln and heat and cool it it will remove them, and the glass will be strong again.

Now I have to find someone who blows glass around here and doesnt mind me bringing in a pipe.
