This has been requested alot, I finally got off my ass and implemented it. You can now embed flash using the following format:

[flash=width,height]address[/flash]

For example, this:

[flash=425,350]http://www.youtube.com/v/aNs26ifoLeY[/flash]

results in this:

Sure are a lot of posts in the pub that are just links to youtube video :crazy:

Only thing I don't like about having them display in the posts is sometimes it crashes this browser, slows it on post preview, or starts playing music unexpectedly.

Other than that, good idea.

is there a way to make these flash things start only when you press "play"?
once that flash thing blink posted loaded it was really loude and on top the unkle :sad:
and there's no "stop" feature for some reason (although "back" worked to stop the damn thing... it was certinly annoying when i couldn't figure out where it was coming from having not scrolled down and thought the flash was a jpg)
