mini greenhouse setup

ive been searching posts for a long time. does anyone know of anything that even closely resembles a tek for setting up a cool mist to a 4 teir greenhouse, martha, etc....
ive seen shroomgod's
any recomendations on what kind of cool mist(brand and model specific)
best means for attaching to greenhouse cover.
i know hippiechick is all about it but i searched her posts and gave up.

vicks V400 is the model most use...it works great for me.

drill a hole, hook up a hose to the back of the greenhouse, duct tape that shit in, and you're good to go

i've actualy found it better to just put the coolmist inside the greenhouse, it lasts a lot longer that way.....

talk to roger rabbit about using the cool mist inside the tent.  There's no back pressure and your bushings wont get fucked over like they do if you run PVC from the coolmist.  When i get the space to setup a martha that's the route im taking, less work for me and better results in the end :smile:

it takes a bit of tweaking, but no, you run the coolmist off of a timer for a short while. Hypothetically lets say you run the cool mist for 5 min every hour. For 5 min the cool mist brings the humidity up to your desired level, provides an air exchange, and then stops to let the humidity stay constant. Then by the time it starts to drop the cool mist kicks back on and levels it out. It works pretty much the same way as if you're running PVC.

The vent holes in your greenhouse provide air exchange, and the cool mist provides humidity. Depending on how many holes you cut, run the cool mist anywhere from one to three minutes on, then five to ten minutes off. Short cycling provides a more steady humidity with less drips on the floor.

I have this setup and I use a 3/4" hose (mushbucket) with a large tray of perlite at the bottom. three holes on each side with large filter discs over them. Used a hose fitting to connect without distorting the "LOOK". Finally, I have a 40 cm case fan attached to each top pole facing down. I run the mushbox all day, fans all day, hum. right around  90-100% all the time. very low maintenance
