It seems we talk about what's wrong with shit too much. So, I'd like to hear what you all have to say. Because, poetry is a wise mans pun on words, or a naughtical way to get you to think?

You look for something cunning?
Wise? Creepy, mystic, creative?
Some one that takes you to that level.
That level where anything is possible.
Because at that level, we can create anything.
But at the same time, you might overlook it.
See an unusual rythm
And pass judgement
But if thoughts were only actions
Your action would of came back to you sooner or later
So look beyond your horizon
As the new day is coming
Because that good feeling, is right around you


*Note* I know my scatter brain ramblings of 4:09 in the morning on the east coast may not interest you, but you know... start from here, its a progressive thing and I'll explain to you what I'm saying when it's done.

Abounding Ignorance of Iambic Pentameter

Vague, ambiguous, and incomplete
liberally studded with "You", "I" and "Me"
you....
mustletgo....
cause I.....
can't say no.....

Your poetry sucks, but excuse your chagrin
because Sandburg was horrible, and so was Whitman
It doesnt get any worse reading Leaves of Grass
until having to read Ogden Nash

nice poem Kidgard especially for 4 AM. I write better poetry when I'm trying to hold my vomit and someone is blowing bubbles in my face.

Heavy steps, in constant pursuit, this void under zoom
We find no subsequent doors, no way to bring ourselves to be
That wasn't already established in the beginning
Black and white, this world will rest within
Just another memory
Turn only to find a reflection of the future behind us
Heavy steps

well, i figure since so many people lost interest like i much gestured with my *Note. I may as well explain what I was getting at. (Sorry to come off a like a cunt) But, you see my friend - we all talk about things. What I'm talking about is more scatter brained but the message is still blunt. I can stir up your emotions, but for 6 people to post on this and when I look at the other shit you all post about. Meaningless self indulgences, I see what's wrong with you, me, and everyone else. We pass things up for something quick. Something that we can relate to, rather than something that could actually be put to use. And although you were the one who criticized and I'm no better for getting back in your face about it. I have to say, we put our interest in pointless self indulgences, but I really do wanna hear what you all have to say. As we all talk about what's wrong. But no one tries to fix shit. So rather than just sit around like a bunch of bitches, stop ranting and put your thoughts to use. (Feel free to flame me, but it needs to be said)

LOL actually, i meant i write better poetry than what i normally write when..... but yea, it does look like i was putting myself over you. sorry for the confusion. i was just using this post as a gateway to get my own poetry on here because i'm selfish. the only thing i actually said regarding yours is that it's decent, especially for 4 am.

now i suppose it could be the reason that humankind is so slow to evolve, we are ignorant to the things that might guide us in pursuit of a better species because of the possibility that it might take us out of our comfort zone. but then, thats human nature, so you can't really say anything about our situation that would be more accurate than we are acting like a bunch of typical H. Sapiens.
