Here it is at last folks, the 'little CONTEST' results!
First off, I'd like to thank all the entrants for making this contest so successful and fun! Thank you for having a sense of humour, confidence in Captain Max and the SporeLab and, for those who noticed, for being astute enough to read the 'fine print'. The 'fine print' of course, mentioned the fact that every prize comes with a certificate from Captain Max, redeemable at any SporeLab. Yes, all winners will recieve 3 free spore syringes of thier choice along with thier 'little' prizes!
This contest served many purposes. Besides an opportunity to win something, it also poked fun at some of the garbage that has been turning the Vendors forum into a laundromat bulletin board recently. The self-bumping of threads, posting of multiple threads all saying the same thing, lack of thread content, the huge sigs. It also revealed some of the problems faced here at the shroomery. It flushed out the real troublemakers, those who for no apparent reason, had nothing better to do than post ignorant, rude flames and insults. These include:
'barry_manilow' - an obvious sockpuppet.
'ralphster44' - a competing vendor who continues his pathetic 'little' smear campaign because he believes in trying to make others look bad as a way of making himself look good. How lowclass to go into another vendors contest thread and spew the trash talk he did.
'bluemeanie' - part-time shroomerite, full time troll If you don't want to enter a contest, don't enter. Take your negativity elsewhere.
It also revealed some lack of integrity amongst those who run this site. Although not as loud as the above, thier negativity did not go unoticed.
Anno -a mod - had nothing better to post other than lies and negativity
Captain Jack- another Mod - Actually LOCKED the contest thread the first 3 times with NO EXPLANATION!
Like womens figure skating judges, the corruption goes all the way to the top.
Thor came up with new rules that we must all now live by in his attempt to disrupt the contest. Sure, 'the little guy' and dimitri can announce thier business plans well in advance but should Captn Max mention once about an upcoming contest, oh no, you have to make up new rules to prevent that!
Those of you who been exposed for your decietful ways should take a hard look in the mirror, your actions are the problem, not the solution.
Now, on to the winners!.......
slovula - Your name was picked and as you requested a piece of jerky in lue of a 'little' prize, you will recieve salmon jerky. This is the best salmon jerky in the world from the place where the natives practically invented salmon jerky, the west coast of Canada. And of course, your pick of 3 spore syringes!
retardricky and SouthernGent, your names were both drawn and as you both requested the 'littlest' prizes of all I will be sending you each 1 spore of B+ on foil. I hope you guys will get together and mate your spores. Maybe you could post pics here at the shroomery of the wedding and stuff. You also win 3 free spore syringes of course. Congratulations!

Trust me I m far from picky, BUT the free syringes that your winners get.. are they from your free syringes people sent you or were they made from your personal prints?

I do get syringes and prints sent to me at times but I wouldn't dream of giving that stuff out. Half of that donated stuff is usually contaminated or improperly named and a waste of time. No, those are just test syringes around here, I wouldn't think of handing those out for free, as gifts or as prizes.
The contest winners will recieve the same syringes as those who pay for them, right off the store shelve.

Anno is an Administrator now ... Show him some respect, he spends a huge amount of time helping newbies... You on the other hand did this contest for the sole purpose of creating trouble... Can't you just make complaint without resorting to this drama...

Disrupt? I saw this BS going on here and I saw the need to add these rules since people are posting contests without actually following logic..
Max you have a way of making me realize how petty some people are here, I saw a need for new rules and guess what I instated them since all this forum was becoming nothing but countless threads from certain vendors wasting my websites space on 'coming soon' , and silly contests that didn't state what they were...
You made this contest with the point of causing shit, because you were annoyed with something in this forum, you weren't the only one you know.. But instead of approaching this differently, you try to make things worse... Then you complain when I try to make some rules to avoid this BS in the future..
Here's another rule, you'll like this one, its specially brought on by this post....
No Vendor shall intentionally start a thread to encourage a flame war. Mocking other vendors, is not acceptable, and will not be tolerated....
Soon I will have to work on a stupid Vendor's forum posting rules because this is like a fucking kindergarten class... I shouldn't have to point out the obvious here, but it seems some people need a smacking.

My contest was a legit contest. Sorry to make things interesting, entertaining and informative. Others seem to enjoy it. In fact, the only ones complaining are the usual handful of trolls and puppets. And you.
How about a rule pertaining to the length of a contest?

No I'm not, your post when you announced the winners was nothing but negetivity.. You insulted Anno, me, and a whole wack of others.. Yes some deservedly, but its obvious your point of this contest was to get out your frustration on the many posts put out as advertising by some vendors..
But this forum is now fully moderated, now we can get things under control... So something came out of all this anyhow.

Hey Max just wanted to say thanks to you and let you know that I recieved my prize winnings today. Can you believe that shit? 2 day service from sporelab all the way from Canada to bum fuck hills here where I am. This thread was negative right from the start Max. The sole purpose of this contest was to insult another vendor. I't just showed how low you are willing to stoop. I'm really surprised that the other vendor has not busted your ass on this issue yet. You are getting exactly what you deserve.
