He had 2 beautiful shots tonight. One double run HR and another single HR.
Very good game altogether.

the 2 guys that have impressed me the most have been gary atkins batting .404 w/ 14 runs 9 RBI's.. and then Carlos Delgado batting .366 w/ 8 runs, 3 HR's and 9 RBI's... 2 great fantasy steals for me.. under the radar players

He's actually doing pretty good overall. I'm very happy with him.
http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/5386
You have to add on 2 HR's and 3 RBI's that he got today.
On another note Xavier Nady (a close to last pick I grabbed up) is really impressing me. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/6610
Today he went 2/3 with 1 HR and 3 RBI's.
I'm definitely happy with my roster also. However I wish I had a 3rd basemen. Doing alright without one though.

Giambi has been brought up in the past. He admitted to a grand jury in '03 that he was using roids and growth hormones.
He's supposedly off the roids now... along with Sheffield who's not batting as good as he was last year. But hey it's still early in the season.

"Gary Sheffield was testifying before a federal grand jury in San Francisco in 2003 when a prosecutor held up the testoterone-based steroid known as "the cream," supplied by the Bay Area Laboratory Co-Operative.
"Do you know what this is?" Sheffield was asked.
"Yeah, I do," Sheffield said.
"What did they tell you it was for?"
"My wounds," said Sheffield, who then rolled up his right pants leg to show a surgical scar on the outside of his knee. "It was like a cortisone to heal these wounds. I rubbed it on every night and it helped me."
Sheffield says he was not told that the cream, which he used before and during the 2002 season when he played for the Atlanta Braves, was an illegal steroid. "It was like you could go to a store and find something like that. That's what was in my thoughts," he says. "I put it on my legs and thought nothing of it. I kept it in my locker. The trainer saw my cream."
Sheffield says it shocked him when news broke that "the cream" and "the clear," another balm supplied by BALCO, were designer steroids. "That's why I was mad," he says. "I want everybody to be on an even playing field."
Shocked... yeah right. God only knows the extent of Sheffields roid use. I like Sheffy though. He's one of my favorite Yankees along with Giambi.

As someone who watched Yankee games fromt he midst of the roid scandal till now, and I mean almost every single game, and also as someone who can admit when a player on his own team is flawed, I just have to say you can really tell Giambi got off of it. He has less of that empty insanity in his eyes, and the entire structure of his body has changed back to the way it was before he was all beefed up on roids.
I honestly think GIambi's off the roids now. I think a healthy dose of Don Mattingly is what's got him his home run swing back.

You should have no shame in saying that you watch the greatest franchise in MLB history.

Maybe so but if you remember correctly the Yanks started off like shit last year and went on to win their division. They are notorious for early season jitters.
