There was a young guy in Canada named Mike Rowe who had his own software company.

His web site was www.mikerowsoft.com :lol:

M$ sent him some emails threatening legal action, so he went to the news and told them the story. M$ ended up getting a lot of bad flack over it, so they agreed to setlle with Mike Rowe out of court.

He gave them the website, and they gave him an XBox with a bunch of games and a MSDN subscription :smirk:

Don't forget that Microsoft has a few tens of billions of dollars to throw at their lawyers in such a case....while MikeRowSoft probably had $100 and some pocket lint :smirk:

I'd say it was a good deal. The MSDN subscription alone is worth a few thousand.

BTW.. "makrsoft" was meant to be the redneck whiet trash pronunciation of microsoft... the site will be a satire of microsoft, implying that their product is too shitty to be marketed towards most of america.. sort of a literal vision of "what would happen if Microsoft made commercials geared directly towards poor people that didn't know how to turn a computer on?"
