You know, I had the very same thought! his character was such a shitty person, I really felt he ought to die somehow. Everything was essentially his fault.

You'd think, instead of saying, "twas beauty that killed the beast" he might have reflected back upon these events and found Kong's death to be his own damned fault.

But that wouldn't be very realistic, I guess... :P

Also: I thought this movie blew. Way too long... as someone else said, too much character development for such simple characters.

And, also, I really didn't think the acting was very good. Adrien Brody is a good actor... he did a good job. Jack Black and Naomi Watts are both so-so actors, and they both could have done a lot better.

Well, I tend to use the "reply" feature instead of the "quick reply" feature, and therefore was no longer looking at that page as I typed my response.
