my new home appliance.

so, when i moved into my new apartment, my girlfriend bought me a bong as a housewarming gift... however, I didn't really like it, so I sold it and bought a new one...

It is now unofficially known as 'the ghost of kenny'.. since while I was taking these photos last night, I discovered there is a little person in one of the marbles that looks just like kenny from south park.. but, i didn't see it there before i purchased the piece..

the lamps came with the apartment.. i'm really not sure where they came from.. bed, bath and beyond maybe?  someplace like that, i'm sure... they really are nice and provide such cool lighting. :smile:

it wasn't hard to tell my girl.. I just told her that i'd rather her money went towards something i really liked than something that i just thought was ok... and I sold it for what she paid for it and used the money plus some of my own to get this one.  [edit]  i should mention that the money actually got lost in the mail.. i used the idea of having the money as reason to use my own money completely until the money from the first one arrives.
