If it didn't work out then your not being with her is definitely for the best.  In time you'll find someone even more compatible and all will be well.  Don't let your heart harden or close off other opportunities.  Life has a funny way about it-- when one door closes frequently another one opens up somewhere else.

It's not an ending it's a beginning man!

Being single is gravy! I got out of a four year relationship recently and it's the freaking best time of my life!

Not at all! I didn't want it to end at all. She broke up with me. And after a few months of moping around barely existing I realized I was screwing up and moved on.

Now I'm thankful as heck! I just wish I would have realized it earlier, that's all.

This here's my last chance
so it won't hurt to ask
What can I do to make you love me?

I'll learn to speak in French,
I'll even pitch a tent on your front yard
to make you love me

It seems impossible
you never seem to notice
But there will come a day
they'll say "he really showed us"

This time I really mean it
I think I'm dangerous
You won't be safe
until you love me

You're such a pretty girl,
let's feed the birds and squirrels
some bread and peanuts
till you love me.

If you don't like some one
Then I will take a gun
and blow their heads off
until you love me

You must understand
I'm not responsible for anything I do
I've got a doctor's note
this time it's not a joke,
I'm really serious
bad things will happen
till you love me.
love me
love me

I know when you say I'm scaring you
and I should go away that it's a lie
But here's some truth
I'll never stop until I die.
(die die die)

In my mind
We are peas and carrots
But you are so blind
You refuse to hear it

You'd better listen up
I'll give you one last chance
you won't be safe
until you love me,
love me,
LOVE ME

It's not your fault you're such a badass.

Now go drink some whiskey, fuck some sluts, and yell at frat boys.

Yeah man, don't go the alcohol route. Raging emotions and alcohol are NOT a good combination.

I feel for ya man...I really do...(just happened to me last week)

"I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or
insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me."

"Strange memories on this nervous night in Las Vegas. Five years later? Six? It seems like a lifetime, or at least a main era - -the kind of peak that never comes again. San Francisco in the middle sixties was a very special time and place to be a part of. Maybe it meant something. Maybe not, in the long run, but no explanation, no mix of words or music or memories can touch that sense of knowing that you were there and alive in that corner of time and the world. Whatever it meant."
