Anyone seen Infected Mushroom live?

I'm thinking of going to see them when they play in London on 1st of April and im trying to assess whether it's gonna be worth dragging my arse all the way down there! Are they any good live?

I saw them twice so far both in seattle, WA. The first time I saw them was amazing. They had the party goin the whole night giving off great vibes. Second time I saw them was an ok show...I personaly thought Astral Projection did alot better job that night. But if you havent seen em I'd highly reccomend going especially if you love IM and havent seen em before.

I've seen them 3 or 4 times, the first few times - I rather like them. The last time, I didnt like them at all - felt more psy-rock than psytrance.

However, there were about 1,000 other people going off like no tomorrow so I was the odd-one out. If you like psytrance and like IM - then I'd go.

I saw them in Vancouver last year - they were spinning (rather than playing live) and it was a really shitty show - it was fun and all, but the sound and the set just wasnt right. I felt i wasted my money.

definately not very psytrancy anyways.. there new stuff is very euro pop?

Euro pop?? Awwhh come on... they are not the standard psytrance sound but that's the cool part bout them, and not europop at all. They will be here next week but i have no money... IM definitly worth but it depends on the event production anyway.

i just saw infected at the house of blues in hollywood ... fucking incredible! i've never 'danced' in my life, even rolling ...

but that night you could have seen me next to the sub for two hours, sober, but moving in every which direction ...

an amazing show! i never liked infected so much out of speakers (i prefer the 'hallucinogen' style of electronic) but once i saw them live, i totally fell over! good show

Agreed. I dont even consider Infected's new tracks psytrance. I dont even know what I would call em...If only they would go back to the old days of B.P. Empire and The Gathering and stop thinking about the $$. But none the less they can still play some good shows -- so if ya got cash to spare and nothing to do. Check em out.

I think they are just evolving towards a different direction (yeah a comercialized one i know), but all of this for the good because i still consider their music very talented and a product of these hard working guys that happended to create sumthing that makes my mind fly away in a special way... they are unique ^^

no.. but, i'd love to.. i've missed them 2 times in the past year.. and several times before that.

I finally managed to catch Sun Project LIVE the other night.. it was awesome.

Artists can be sucesfull/popular without selling out their sound to water it down and create a club-friendly version of what they used to do.

That being said, IM has every right to move into whatever musical direction they wish. I just happen to not like their current direction :P

You wont be hearing much old tunes. The 2 times I saw them the oldest tunes they played were....
