Fresh From the Casino

Made some good money Tuesday thanks to gregorio, plus I won some the night before and had yet to get my ticket cashed. Planned on getting some booze and drinking with a friend or two. Turned out he got a tax return so he was thinking the same. We went to the store and I got some Patron, Ketel One, and 151. I got a Partagas Black Label to puff on, and we we're ready to do it to it.
Started with the 151, and somewhere near the halfway point of the bottle we got to talking about the casino. He said fuck it, let's go play something. I was down, so we hopped in the car and went up to NY. We were both hungry, so I used my players card and got us both into the buffet. Ate like pigs for an hour, then went our ways with plans to meet up in two hours. After the first two hours of slots and craps I was down, and so was he. We went for another round, and I made some back, and he lost more. I told him I was going to play poker so I didn't know how long I'd be gone.
Sat down at the table around 7 or 8, and didn't leave until 5:30 Around midnight I got comped a room and told the person to find my friend and give him the key. He came in with the key 20 minutes later like "what the fuck? I gotta go home". I was drunk(nothing like free Hennessey XO) and laughed at him, and said "sorry man, can't leave". The whole table got a kick out of that, and I gave him enough to cover his losses and play some more.
We slept a while, ate breakfast, played all day again, and here I am today. When all was said and done my friend ended up hitting a couple grand on a slot, I had rocked the table, and I met someone that lives about 30 minutes from me and hosts a game every other week
Drank expensive booze all day for free, won money, kept a friend from losing, found a new game, and I still have my Ketel One and Patron

Ive never been to a Casino before but one of these days I'm going to get to one. My wife goes to the riverboats a couple times a year with her friends and she usually does pretty good. She has got to be one of the luckiest people on the face of the earth.
Good to hear about your winnings.

Riverboats...I totally forgot about those. I've been on one before. Well, I was on one, but it wasn't a gambling one. I'm gonna have to get around to that. Is there free drinks?
