Last night I watched 24 for the first time in my life.

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.

Hehe - FYI it's not meant to be picked up in the middle of a season.. and I could argue that it's not meant to be picked up anywhere but from the pilot episode in season 1, since the arc's in the story don't only cross episodes but entire seasons.  That said, I watched my first two seasons in the third year of the show, off commercial-free bootleg networked through the Xbox in my college living quarters up in Santa Cruz - which was perfect since you could get a solid fix of 2 to 4 episodes at a time.  Having to wait a week in between episodes is entirely bogus. :nonono:

I watched last nights episode just before I went to bed, then proceeded to have the most wild spy-dream I've ever had :smirk:
