My lava-lamp got shaken...

And now there are lots of bubbles in the wax.

It's been like this for I guess a couple days.

Will it ever go back?

yes, turn the light up, and wait a few more days and it will be fine.
I shack mine up sometimes to break the big globs up.

Rod: What do you mean turn the light up? Mine only has an on and an off setting. And do you mean to leave it on constantly for day or it will be fixed in a few days? Please elaborate.

Awww.  :sad:  My favorite lava lamp, which we'd had for years, broke last week.

Anyhow, I had used to have a pretty cheap lava lamp that was shaken up, and never went back to normal.  However, my other and more expensive lava lamp (the one that just broke) was shaken up several times, and would always return to its original state after about a week.

I hate to be the jerk that ruins it, but I have a lava lamp that got shaken real bad when I first had it, and its been 8 years since Ive had it and its never gone back.

But I hope yours isnt a jerk rebel like mine

At the risk of being redundant, an impulsive friend of mine shook my lava lamp while it was warm but the lamp recovered after a few days.
