marijuana, the psychedelic

you all already know this, but tripping on weed is crazy. its been two months that i haven't smoked, and i just come back from a gf's house where i took a nice and warm bath (no not with her :smirk: ) and i smoked myself a joint of some of that sticky icky with no tobacco (which i normally don't do) to PF's the animals, and i was definitely gone for about half an hour

with the water pushing my back against the force of gravity, my body felt alot lighter. i soon tried to imagine what it would feel like to be weightless in outerspace, where there is no up-and-down and no left-and-right, where the perception of reality ceases to be a flat, plane-like dimension and becomes rather a circular,a spheric one.

i tried to imagine that, and the way i sensed my surroundings felt completely unknown to me, i was lost in the innergalactic space of my mind, and although my eyes were perfectly making sense of the information the light was sending them, my mind was not worried about interpreting it. i was detached from what i was seeing and the forms of reality were no  more. but what i was seeing still seemed to be a valid sense of reality, there was still some coherence to it, some truth.

it was strange, most probably because it was new, but it was also liberating. i wasn't only detached from the sight of my eyes, but also from everything else, from my thought, from my memory. i felt very unconditionned, and very in touch with the NOW. free from the poisoning effects of society

I have to say that the mind can amazingly have a huge influence on the trip, on the intensity of the high. I totally plunged myself in marijuana, the psychedelic, and i offered her to fill my senses and perception. She took over, and needless to say, she showed me her view of reality.

I bet anyone can trip off weed, it prolly had alot to do with tolerance and proper set and setting :sun:

I smoke maybe once a week, at most.  And I get incredibly high.  I can't imagine 2 months.  That must be amazing.  And it sounds like you did it in the right environment :yesnod:

I smoke too much for it to be a psychedelic really anymore.  Unless its some crazy sativa or go overboard with kif or hash :smile:.  When i get so high its almost psychedelic it can be kind of unconfortable.  Makes my heart feel like its racing.

When i first started smoking tho... it was different.

Yeah, now when I get really high, I get anxious, paranoid, basically bug out.  I remember back in the day, I'd get so high that I literally couldn't make a drive through order I was giggling so much  :lol:

It was a helluva drug then :sad:

Isnt it wonderful. I remember the days of comming back to my room, turnin on the psy and sitting in my chair feeling like a plant.

One of my favorite thinga to do is get high outside in the spring. How wonderfull.

Ya it definitely has to do with tolerance, and i love the trip that marijuana gives you, that's why this was like, the 4rth time of my life that i quit smoking weed for more than a month only to plunge back into it with greater intensity :grin:

And like i said, the mind can have an amazing influence on the trip too. I mean that if i didn't want to have the psychedelic trip that i had, i wouldn't have had it.

Sometimes I hear things when I'm really stoned. Once I was rubbing my face because it felt nice, and stopped and clutched my face, and swore that my hands went through my cheeks and met in the middle of my head

Only once have I had a completely psychadelic trip on weed. A friend gave me two pot cookies which I took home and ate that night. Well I don't know how much weed or rub or whatever the fuck he put in it but I was hallucinating for a couple of hours and so completely stoned I thought I was going to lose my mind. It was for sure a weed stone, but so intense I could barely stand it. Not pleasant at all, a very paranoid shaky trip.

I think I know what you mean, I've had bad physical experiences where I stop knowing what my body can do; it's scary, I'm afraid to move and I get the uncontrollable shakes. I feel like if I move, I'll fall off the edge of the earth--or if I don't move, or really at all

what keeps you from this state of mind while sober..? you are a product of your senses and perception, so what effect is your mind having on the pineal gland trip your on right now? :laugh:

for the past months i have been keeping it EXACTLY like that and man i cannot even imagine
how boring it was to daily hit the herb.

the highs i get at weekends are WAY out there, gotta love them,
never gonna get back to the daily habit - ever !

I was playing chess with my friend last night. We smoked a blunt together and I kept zoning out and shutting my eyes to watch the ocd's. I see fractals, sometimes colorful. This tripiness carries over to my vision sometimes. I was looking at my hands and it reminded me perfectly of a low dose shroom trip. I like weed. =D
