What ever happened to the good ol' bean bags?

You know, the REAL ones. Not the ones full of styrofoam balls and whatnot. Those aren't as comfortable to chill on or as efficient when beating someone with one. I'm assuming they started using styrofoam because its cheaper, but do they still make beanbags with beans (or whatever was really inside of them)? I wanna get one.

you're Luke's friend, right? i know y'all are somewhere in florida-- take a trip to Gainesville[looking at the site, they're in a few locations in Fl, maybe closer to you guys]. these things are so fucking awesome. i bought the high-end one, paid right at 400 with tax. jesus christ monkey balls, no futon/beanbag compairs.

Yeah Luke's mah buddy. I'm in the panhandle of Florida so I think the one in Pensacola is the closest. These actually look pretty damn cool, thanks man. :thumbup:

I remember back in the day I used to have this Plymouth Voyager battlevan. My (then) girlfriend gave me a bean bag to pimp it out (the van was a POS, the bumper and back were all fucked up due to an accident, and I used it mostly for highly illegal activities). The moment I sat in that bean bag, the poor thing just split open and all the little balls of styrofoam went everywhere.

Oh boy I had some fun times opening the back doors on the highway and dumping them out on the cars behind me ...  :grin:

most all of them have a zipper, only the $30 walmart ones are so cheap they dont

I think buckwheat would be best, I could see them getting pretty heavy with about

someone does, check with different plastics manufactures, there's always little
nibs that get cut off, a little heat and the edges are rounded, if you get the bag
made by a seamstess, you'd probably get it pretty cheap and the plastic close to free

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Is that what's in those um..what in the devil were those things called...mt. fuji pillows? They always stay cool or something. That'd be a good idea. Where could I get something like that?

they've been selling for about 15 years now, some department stores, walmart for a
while and you can order them online, it also ouldnt be that hard to tract down a
supplier of buckwheat hulls through google
