Although I have to say above and beyond all of those the best thing I got this year musically was The Name of this Band is Talking Heads. But that's not a new album, just a digitally remastered and expanded rerelease.

Spoon and Sufjan Stevens are excellent. I love the song chicago. I will have to give those other bands a try.
