Ive been hearing a mixed bag about these - one site says they grow big fruits - but a lot of stuff ive read tends to say that these babies are similar to ko samui... Should i bother??

I don't have any experience with it,but like you said,there are many reports of it being similar to K.S. I've heard it was found In Koh Samui,growing on the dung of a pink buffalo.According to MycoTek,it is the exact same mushroom.

I think they are the same. They look the same and colonize at the same speed. Next to a casing of Koh Samui's they look pretty similar.

There is absolutely no way these are the same strain, my buddy grew them out a couple times and is working with it again now because he likes it so much. Very nice and large fruits off of horse dung, colonization is always within 2 weeks. He only ate them once though and it was a very nice visual trip and not as speedy as most of the thai's, definitely recommonded. don't know how many varations of this strain are out there, It seems that the thai's are all mixed up right now. the t-3 is the koh samui but pink buffalo is definitely not. hope this helps, might have some prints to trade after new years. Just wish he would get his camera working so i could throw up some pics.
