HELP TrashCan Punch Mix

hey guys whats up
so me and my buds were going to throw a party
and getting the kegs fell through
so we decided to make some trash can punch
but we wanna know how much to buy and how much will get how many people drunk
i was told to get a gallon or two of everclear, a few more gallons of punch, a 12 pack, and some fruits that were sliced up
and mix them in a trash can
anyone heard anything else...cuz i'd rather have somthing more exact...and some prices on gallons of everclear and what size bottles...fruit type...punch type....anything would help
and the party is tonight...so LETS GO!

It's called jungle juice.. and it can be made a million different ways

Basically you got it. Just pour a bunch of liquor in.. whatever your preference.. some people mix liquors.. mix with fruit punch.. chop up a bunch of fruit and chuck in in. Jungle Juice. Quantities don't matter.. just wing it.. if it needs more alcohol.. add some.

Any fruit will work.. strawberries, melons, grapes.. whatever.

Yeah, there really isn't a recipe, just mix up liquor and whatver else you want. IS it going to be a clean, new trash can?

we did a similar thing just using a big cooler; everclear, a couple light beers, a bunch of strong lemonade, some chopped lemons, and ice. we just "winged it" too, wasnt bad at all, and got the bitches crunk (;

just think of it like this...

everclear is 190 proof (95%)

if you want each drink around 10-15%
add 6-10 times as much juice as liquor.

6 parts juice 1 part liquor 16.6% alcohol by volume

10 parts juice 1 part liquor 10% alcohol by volume (% not exact)

ever clear is pretty freakin cheap the juice will probably cost as much.

and i've always called it trash can punch too.

Yeah it's always best to overshoot how much you'll need.  100 half drunk people will get restless when the booze stops flowing :yesnod:

1 gal everclear is 10 gal of punch (10% by volume) (beer is 4.5%)

everybody on average should be good with 4 drinks (12oz)

go 3 gallons of everclear is 30 gallons of punch

and that'll take care of 80 people.

holy shit
how much would 3 gallons cost
if i did 1 gallon of everclear and 6 of punch
7 gallons is 112 cups of about 12oz drinks
which is about right for 50 people
i really need to know some everclear prices
google isnt giving me any answers on that

i bet 2 cups at a 6/1 ratio would get most the people feelin good....and there gonna be alot of girls and they only need 1 or 1/2 of a cup

maybe 1 1/2 gallons of everclear at a 7/1 or 8/1 ratio would be fine...but we wont make the whole batch until its needed
and we are plannin on making some jello shots
but we know how to do that

ive been doing 1 or 2 bottles of devils spings with like 5-7 gallons of punch (thats 160 proof alcohol, 1.75L bottles and goes for about $25) if youre making powered mix, mix it with water as per directions then add the booze, the time they didnt listen to me and added the alcohol before the water, it came out pretty bad. if youre making with something like hawaiian punch, then it doesnt matter how you do it. 7:1 ratio isnt bad, but im used to making it stronger at the request of the sororities, they like strong punch and 5-7 gallons at 5:1 will disappear in about 3 hours with only 40 people (keep in mind these are mixers with frat boys and sorostitutes, we also go through 3 30 racks of beer for drinking as well as pong and a few bottles liquor the same night, now think of how much booze we buy for open parties with hundreds of people).
