Sporeworks: SEVEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!! Coupon Special Inside!
    #4786549 -

Howdie Folks,

It's hard to beleive, it's been SEVEN YEARS since Sporeworks opened it's doors for business! Where did all that time go?!?

To celebrate, we'll be offering a coupon special with a coupon code to save you $7 off your order! Order total must be $10 or more for this coupon to apply. Enter the coupon code "seven years" in the Coupon Code field when reviewing your cart before starting the checkout process. Coupon Code will expire at the end of the day 10-17-05.

Coupon Code: seven years

Here's a little walk down memory lane for you, ORIGINAL Content from the very first Sporeworks Website:

----------------------------------------------------------------------

What's New

10/10/98

The mission of the Spore Works is to provide quality fresh spores accurately identified, and to display pictures of each species before sale. It is important to us that you make informed decisions before purchasing.

Unless stated otherwise the pictures here are my own and are of the exact species and varieties that you will be purchasing. No photos from other sources will be displayed without proper acknowledgments. I take my pictures with a RCA camcorder, then frame capture pictures from the video tape. Its a cost effective way to post lots of fairly good if not great photos.

11/6/98

I put Psilocybe mexicana on the available eventually list. This may be premature, but I have several prints that are purportedly real mexicana. Of course all species are confirmed before sale.

Check out the azurescens, B+ and tampanensis pages for updated cultivation information.

Here is a general growing method for subtropical species in draft form.

Tampanensis, semilanceata and Amanita muscaria are now available for sale.

A new species will eventually be available, Psilocybe subfimetaria. A lucky find during a routine liberty cap foray. So far only a single specimen has been found, so it will hopefully be available in the fall of 1999.

11/13/98

Added the first of many gallery pages and added pictures to some of the species descriptions that were lacking. Fixed a few spelling and grammatical errors

11/26/98

Added some pelliculosa pictures.

11/29/98

Sold and traded away my entire stock of tampanensis. More will be available in a few weeks. Still working on providing syringes. Progress is slower than expected. Shipping boxes have been purchased.

Making good progress in finding a authentic mexicana. A spore print in our possession also shows promise.

12/05/98

Psilocybe cubensis B+ is now available in print form. Bulk source of sterile 10cc syringes with 1.5 inch needles found. 100 syringes ordered. Tampanensis crop failure due to sloppy methods. 30 day delay, sorry for the inconvenience.

For those of you that come here for the pictures, check out the Spore Works picture storage area. An unsorted collection of cultivation experiments from our Research Department.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Whew! We've come a long way with your help in these last seven years, and we certainly appreciate your patronage and support!

As long as you are able to print your order form using the coupon code, it will be good. The code will expire on the 17th, so make sure you submit or print up your mail order by then. If you aren't able to submit the order via the website before mailing, or print your invoice then just be sure to get it in to us sometime in the next week or two and we'll honor the coupon! You don't have to worry about getting the order to us by the 17th, we understand there will be some lag for mail orders being mailed.

Thanks!!!
