Hello all. I was just wondering if I could get some recommendations on a good vendor for lab supplies. Petri dishes, innoculation loops, MEA, etc. All links are appreciated.

try this web site. Click on cultivation supplies. The have a pressure cooker that will hold 14 pint sized jars and 48 1/2 pint sized jars. They also have deals on terrariums and so fourth. the web address is.

It's a handle with a wire twisted together and a loop at the end used for scraping spores off a print and onto a petri dish.

Necron, I have access to a loop i bought one from ceramics class unused and it's like you describe. Im pretty sure its autoclaveable it has a wooden handel though so i dont know how steril this would be. would this be usable for a project like that? Just wanted to know because my friends pet donkey is going to need one in the near future.

if you order a spore print from a vendor do you need one to use the spores? if you make ur own prints do you need one? how much do they cost?
