Secret identity

At work I try to cultivate a wholesome, good boy image. The kind of guy who gets in bed at 8PM with a warm saucer of milk and is out by 8:30. I post on The Shroomery there every once and a while, but I thought I was being pretty slick about it.

So the other day was the last day for one of the guys who I kinda supervise. It was my day off, so he wrote me a funny letter. At the very end of the letter, he wrote "I'll meet you at The Shroomery" and drew a mushroom. Haha, BUSTED!

It's ok.  I'll just make some more references to "the good lord" in front of people or something.  That outta do it. 

Another thing that's weird is that this young girl gave me this psychedelic wristband that said "dude" on it.  She said "I'm giving this to you because it's so you".  I blew that off, but then yesterday she asked me if I had gone to the Wilderness Jam over the weekend (hippie festival).  I was like ".....you say some pretty strange things to me".  I don't know.  I thought I was doing a better job of pretending to be Clark Kent, but some people see the blue shirt underneath or something.  Maybe because I wear a shirt that says "Peace, love and happiness".  I don't know.  One of the girls at work who knows my secret identity says that I set off her "stonerdar" when she first started working there.  :shrug:

It's true stonerdar, does exist, how else are we supposed to located like-minded peoples.

It happened at my work...we all secretly flocked to one another.....and now all work in the bar :laugh:

I try to be so under cover about it, though. I mean, I was in the room when this older lady misquoted Timothy Leary. She said "turn on, drop out and tune in". I didn't say a word.

I guess some of the things I wear and some of the people I've mistakenly trusted to keep my secret have blown my cover. Oh well, I'll think of something to change it back.

Gillette: This question is off topic, so I must apologize to the person who started this thread, but do you find yourself not being able to trust guys? I mean, you're a really cool chick, but do you sometimes question whether guys are being nice to you because you're pretty or because they actually like you as a person? If I were a pretty girl, I would not trust men.
