Bruce Lee would never beat Fedor Emelianenko. Fedor is indestructible. He will never lose. No one on earth can beat him. No one who ever existed can beat him. And chances are no one who will ever come will ever be able to beat him. Not even when he's 100. He's the machine, the last emperor, the terminator.

Dare I say it, not even a nuclear blast would defeat him. No animal alive would even stand a chance. Most dinosaurs might pose a threat, but even the deadliest would succumb.

Fedor is the enigma and the answer. He is like Achilles, except he lacks any heels. A heelless Achilles. God lacks the skills necessary to take him down.

You know Bruce Lee's sidekicks could explode heavy punching bags. I don't know if there's a way to defend against that.
And Bruce Lee was even better than in de movies. He had to slow his moves down for the camera otherwise you could barely see the moves.

After reading a couple of sites about Bruce's feats of strength I would completely support the fact that he could almost surely destroy any fighter around today.

Yep if it was an outright street fight, not some canned ring deal. Bruce would own these thugs in no time. Sorry.

He was intelligent and able to adapt to the situation very fast. JKD: it is about pure brutal destruction as effectively as possible. Bruce was not a fool and new about ju jitsu, judo and wrestling etc.

With a street fight eye jabs and leg attacks, make it initially hard for the grappler before he tries to close. Bruce constantly moving, adjusting to his opponent, learning in a moment what others never see in their whole lifetime - the physics of movement and human leverage takes the advantage. Coordination is at it peak in this human. Biting, eye gouging, testicle attacks quickly make the grappler type regret coming in close with the necessary tools to adapt to the non ring bound destructiveness of Bruce Lee. Whaaaaaaaaaaa Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Silva dies. Lee had experience testing his techniques effectiveness on Kareem and no body is bigger than Kareem period, that's when he lost a bit of interest in trapping skills.

Meanwhile, in other fighting news...

Boxing will have a Man vs Woman match. A show that's apparently too politically incorrect, even Nevada won't host it. Which is why it's going to be hosted in Mississippi. But alas, still on pay per view of course. As it says in the article:

Lee would be owned by any modern fighter. No doubt about it.

Someone mentioned the fighters of a MERE 30 years ago. I urge you to watch the first UFC's in the early 90's. The sport has evolved tremendously in the past 15 or so. Early UFC fighters usually employed a single style (as either strikers or grapplers). Royce gracie quickly proved the superiority of the grappling game by winning the first three or so. After that, fighters realized you have to incorporate a number of dimensions: striking, grappling, submissions etc.

I think it's generally agreed that Lee had little grappling and ground game. All the choreographed movie magic looks good, but had little practical value. In todays era of professional sports it would be difficult to make the claim that Lee is significantly (or 1000X) faster than a professional boxer. Physiologically, it's nearly impossible.

All in all, modern fighters have better technique, improved training routines and conditioning and are physically superior to Bruce Lee.

bruce lee was just fuckin the greatest. and even people bigger than him were no match. even modern fighters aint got shit on him... bruce lee was already doing everything from grappling to boxing etc, just like ufc, even before anyone else started. he was the shit. and if you go to the jkd school in la, you will see, its still the shit. i went to a branch of the jkd school, and of the 3 fighers who flew to chicago for a kickboxing tournament, all 3 in different weight classes, all won and came back with the belts.

ps: bruce lee trained harder and longer than any other fighter ive heard of... have you seen the 1 inch punch he can do?? and all the other stuff he can do? its off the hook.

After reading alot of stuff about him I would beg to differ. Even the biggest and best bodybuilders said that he trained at the highest level possible. At only about 145 lbs he was able to sidekick a 300lb bag and have it swing up and hit the ceiling, and he could make a 100 lb bag explode on impact. He had to have special training equipment made because everything he used would be destroyed if it wasn't extremely reinforced. He could strike from 3 feet away in 5 hundredths of a second. The thing that he had going for him was that he never aimed to get bigger, which causes losses in speed, he just strengthened his muscles and connective tissues through some of the most intense training possible. He was also an expert in anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology which would give him an advantage over the simple brute strength of many of today's fighters.

I agree, no-one could even hold a candle to Bruce Lee as far as I'm concerned.
If you saw the 1 inch punch you'd realize it's just imposible to stop that man from punching you at least once; and if he could do that to a bigger judo master imagine what he could do to a face. There's no way in hell one could survive that. 1 punch, 1 win. And he was better kicking than punching!

dude... thats what i thought, then i read about actual facts, things he truely did. even that one inch punch was video taped and documented infront of a huge audience... from what ive seen, this man is bigger than the legend... im still learning things about him i didnt know yet, in my eyes, this man is still getting bigger the more i read, the more i watch.
ps, did any of you guys here this? its jsut a rumor i think. but some say that the cause of his brain edema or whatever it was was caused by taking some kind of bad hashish?

As far as i've heard it was caused by some sort adverse reaction to a regular medicine. I'm not sure though. I do remember reading that he didn't drink or smoke so I just assumed that he was clean living
