what are some good dick's picks? Who has them shared on soulseek? I havent seen many shared, but I definitely want to check them out.

i have yet to listen to one i havent enjoyed...when it comes to the dead, i usually try to stay away from the eighties...but they shone all the time, they never skipped a beat. dicks picks are kinda supposed to be the cream of the crop, just grab one

Hey man whats goin on. I have the following picks - 22,4,16,18,3 and 12. As for which are better than others its really a personal opinion for instance I like the shows from 69, 74, and 77 rather than anything in the 80's or 90's. In answer to ur question I think 4,12, and 22 are the best of the series but what you should do is check out amazon.com and listen to songs from all the different picks and get a sense of what era/year of the dead you prefer.

Ummm.... i dont know why some of you shy away from the 80s. Dicks Picks 21 is pretty awesome. Its got a great version of Jack Straw.

there is good shit in the eighties of course, but a lot of their recordings from the eighties are inferior to their hayday recordings...i dunno maybe im just biased against the eighties, i should open my mind and my ears

those are all very good... but 8 is definetly essential... especialy if you like 22... i've been on this big obsession lately with the series... almost have all of them...

i dont remember if it's 34 or 35, but one of those really really jams too

DP 11 is my favorite. Has my favorite China Rider. Get the night before and after on archive if you cant get 11. Worth the DL
